A 19th Century ormolu surtout-de-table tray with everted and foliate pierced frame inset with later mirror plate. This piece would look very striking as a centrepiece on a dining or console table perhaps with a vase or jug of flowers standing on it. It could also work as a tray for a decanter of whisky and a few glasses for guests to help themselves to. This is not a robust tray for carrying things around, it is to be used for purely decorative purposes.
