Introducing Danebury Design: The Beginning of a New Chapter
After many years at home raising a young family, I had a desire to return to work. I often imagined running my own business, something that combined flexibility with fulfilment, but for a long time I was not sure what form it would take. What I did know was that I wanted to build something with passion and purpose; a business that would allow me to create a career I loved and could feel proud of every day.
Previous experience at an interior design studio gave me clarity and the courage to start something of my own. I wanted to build a studio that could be shaped by the values I care about most: trust, transparency and creativity, with the client experience placed firmly at the heart.

Why Danebury
I wanted a name that resonated without naming the studio after myself. Something with room to grow and a sense of place. Just moments from the studio near Stockbridge in Hampshire sits Danebury Hill Fort, an Iron Age settlement first inhabited around 2,500 years ago. Today it is a much loved nature reserve and a favourite spot for walkers near and far. For nearly twelve years it has brought endless joy, fresh air and much needed sanity while exercising four young children and Frank the Labrador.
The name Danebury reflects heritage, history and connection to the English countryside. It felt nicely aligned to the interiors we design, rooted in the Country House Style, blending tradition with contemporary relevance to create interiors that are distinctive, inviting and beautifully balanced.
